Abstract

This project presents an AI-Based Smart Online Proctoring Exam Integrity Monitoring System designed to improve security and integrity during online examinations. The system combines multiple AI techniques for real-time monitoring and violation detection. The proposed system includes face detection and identity verification using YOLO and DeepFace, eye gaze tracking using Dlib and MediaPipe, unauthorized object detection using YOLOv8n, and behavioral analysis using an LSTM model. These modules work together to detect suspicious activities such as impersonation, mobile phone usage, multiple person detection, and gaze deviation during examinations. All detected violations are monitored through a Django-based web platform that provides real-time alerts, violation logs, and automated examination reports. The system is trained and tested on a custom dataset collected under different examination environments and lighting conditions,Experimental results show high accuracy in detecting examination violations, making the system reliable for remote examination monitoring. The proposed framework provides an efficient, automated, and browser-accessible online proctoring solution without requiring additional client-side software.
